Social Committee Meeting and New Members

 

The Trabuewoods HOA Social Committee held its first meeting this year on Monday night to work on the Spring Fling, Doggie Run and the Garage Sale. The Doggie Run and Spring Fling are scheduled on June 14^th and the HOA will be selling hot dogs and hamburgers. For $1.25 you can have either a hamburger or hot dog with chips, cookies plus a drink. There will be several contests such as hula hoop, jump rope, relay races that include potatoes sack, egg spoon race and the backward run race. Medals will be awarded to the winners of the race.

Basket raffles are also in consideration such as $1.00 a ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00 or maybe a silent auction.

 

If you make craft items for sale and would like to put up a booth please contact Pam Johnson for further details. The HOA is offering this opportunity to our homeowners to provide a more diverse celebration and facilitate the unity in community. Garage sale items are not permitted.

 

The Doggie Run details are still in the making but updates will be coming soon.

 

The Garage Sale is scheduled on June 20^th, 21^st and the 22^nd. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday the HOA will be selling hot dogs, chips and drinks for $1.25 at the park. You can also purchase helium balloons for a quarter ($0.25) to put on your mailboxes for garage sale distinction.

There will be signs at both entrances announcing the garage sale and maps may be issued depending on the number of homes in the sale. To date there are only 18 homes participating.

 

The HOA would like to welcome 2 new volunteers to the Social Community, Amy Early and Bobbie Houser and also to say THANK YOU for stepping up!
